Thriving on the cultural fringes, IPAG’s journey is a collection of engrossing vignettes showcasing how the Philippines’ most-traveled and most-awarded repertory company has soared despite geopolitical challenges. It is a rare feat for a performing arts company originating outside metropolitan centers to sustain half a century of national prominence. Having blossomed in pastoral landscapes, IPAG has firmly established its presence on the world stage.
Beyond its reputation as the most-traveled company, IPAG stands as the most-awarded, earning the highest cultural accolades for the Guild and its artists. Its extensive list of honors includes the CCP Gawad para sa Sining, CCP Gador, CCP Pilak, NCCA Sudi Music Award, UMPIL, ITI International Lampara para sa Kultura at Sining, Spain’s ASTROFIL Excellence Award for Culture and the Arts, India’s Humanitarian Award (Karanaka), the Palanca Award, the Francisco Demetrio Award, CCP Gantimpala, and UP Likhaan.
