The Play

Between her husband RAMA and abductor LAWANA, SITA weighs her options. She has been freed by LAWANA to return to safety but decides to stay with her abductor to warn Rama of impending danger by Lawana’s cunning plan. She risks being caught between the warring armies. Rama, his brother Lacsamana, and ally Hanuman are ready to attack, but Lawana confident of his immortality knows he will thwart the invasion and kill Rama.
