WORLD THEATRE DAY is now celebrated more relevant as we experience worldwide atrocities in war, misunderstandings, climate change, environmental destruction, greed, and the crass commercialism of human values.
The IPAG story is a year-and-a-half less before it celebrates its 50th. Envisioned as what has now become a leading Philippine performance company and a model for many performance groups, IPAG sustains its Philosophy for being: Quest for Ideal Orders towards a Compassionate, Empowered, and Liberal society.
It has established its Aesthetics (Embraced by the Experience), a Pedagogy (3Ps). And dramaturgy that has found niches in institutions and our creative communities. Foremost among these contributions is the establishment of the pioneering MSU-IIT Culture and Arts Studies Program whose frameworks are built from the IPAG Pedagogy and Philosophy.
Wild responses from Bicol audiences greeted IPAG’s three full-house performances of its most-traveled Tales From Mindanao.
With challenges facing performance production in post typhoon-Basyang Iligan, IPAG stands steadfast to prove that the Arts are the strongest ways to overcome these challenges.
Our artists continue their training for upcoming roadshows and productions

IPAG left Iligan City for its next road show without any hint of the unexpected. The rains were normal for a Signal #2 storm.
The receptions in IPAG’s three full-house performances in Legaspi and Nabua were the usual wild applause. Absent from experiencing the agony of an ongoing calamity (insensitive to what was occurring at the same time as this flood of admiration was overwhelming our performances), IPAG returned a day after this vast devastation struck.
Many of our artists had family and friends left home, trapped in the floodwaters.
With the challenge, IPAG continues with the creativity that artists have been gifted with. The Guild continues to serve while easing the burdens this catastrophe has wrought. To IPAG, to prove resilience is a gift. To realize that a Higher Power determines our Fate is the Guild’s mantra
IPAG has returned to help Iligan recover. Its “Tales” continue.
The INTEGRATED PERFORMING ARTS GUILD (IPAG) joins the nation in celebrating NATIONAL ARTS MONTH.
The ARTS are not mere expressions. These are the images of our Lifestyles, our shared narratives. The ARTS ensure the integrity of our culture, integrate our diverse communities, and ensure that all survive.

IPAGโs 2nd half of its 48th Season is just 18 months away before we celebrate our Gold Year in 2027. In almost half a century, IPAG has donned the colors of the Philippines in over a hundred countries, reaching millions, and gaining acclaim and awards that no other Philippine repertory company can equal.
In 2025 alone, IPAG wowed over 50,000 viewers with more than 30 performances, including a milestone feature at the ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ค๐ง๐ก๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ข๐๐ก๐ฎ Festival in Karnataka, India.
Weโd love our talented artists to join this milestone not only for Philippine Arts in Culture but for your future occupations.
2025 was prolific. IPAG exceeded its expectations. But there is more to creation than the acclamations.
We all experienced disturbing challenges. Still we kept faith with what we have been destined to do. As artists, we live to mirror what is. We share our convictions as widely, as clearly, and as sincerely as possible. We crumble the deceptions and evils around us.
We create to fill voids, distances, gaps, and absences. Our surroundings are mired in deceit, corruption, dishonesty, greed, and immorality. But we stand firm among those who are incorruptible, principled, committed, moral, as we true Creatives are born to be. And our armament โ Performance.
We embrace our communities. We draw them into our convictions to convert them to the principles we uphold through our art.
๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐.This year, we mix wider, tighter, and stronger our Mission. We embrace our audiences to transform the betrayals of the past years to seek a just, incorruptible, morally upright, and spiritually fulfilling Philippines.
One for the books. This year, IPAG has again surpassed the 50,000 live-audience mark (excluding appearances on Livestreamed productions, which reached up to 100 countries worldwide).
How a performing group on the fringes evolves into a dominant company in the Philippines, the most-traveled, with over fifty full-feature productions performed worldwide to millions. Forty-eight years without a permanent theatre building, a company whose logistic support is as transient as its roadshow audiences.
A major earthquake and super typhoons cancelled road shows, stranded the company in the Bicol region, consequently cancelling performances at the Vietnam International and the Shanghai APB Festivals.
Saddest is the unexpected demise of our most avid supporter, Sir Ruffy (Engr. Rufino Ignacio), a guardian and inspiration who has kept our creative spirits high, having hosted IPAG in its US roadshows.
But even after these moments of grief, we roll back to euphoria with prospects that, in the next few months, we will be mapping programs that will spur our creativity towards a robust industry.
