Known for its signature form, IPAG has claimed its position in the performing arts scene expanding outside its home base to wider involvements in the national community.

From 5-star hotel ballrooms, to jampacked amphitheaters, to traditional enthronements and intimate audiences, to communal spaces, IPAGโ€™s presence has positioned it an iconic marker in Philippine Performance.

Reaching over 30,000 audiences, IPAG marked three more major recognitions: the ASEAN PANJI performances, the establishment of HULMA Creatives, and the establishment of IPAG-Studies Center where its already-established workshops and courses continue.

IPAG returned from acclaimed performances in five Indonesian Cities representing the country joining 8 other national troupes in the milestone ASEAN Panji Festival. Celebrating UNESCOโ€™s Memory of the World Heritage, the Panji Festival wove our ASEAN kinships threaded by a shared narrative.

It maintains its claim as the countryโ€™s most-traveled repertory company.

Binding artists of our communities into one strong collective is the CenterPoint of HULMA, a direction in establishing Iligan City as a UNESCO Creative City in the Performing Arts.

Spreading out the IPAG Pedagogy and its Creative Methods further enhanced the talents of our collectives to create, perform, and innovate in the Institute of Performance and Art Genre Studies (IPAG S), the pioneering performance arts learning center in our parts.

Besides new productions (๐™ƒ๐™–๐™ฅ๐™ค๐™ฎ ๐™™๐™–๐™ฌ ๐™’๐™–๐™ž๐™œ) and the continuing road shows of the countryโ€™s most-traveled ๐™๐™–๐™ก๐™š๐™จ ๐™๐™ง๐™ค๐™ข ๐™ˆ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™™๐™–๐™ฃ๐™–๐™ค, apprenticing directors and playwrights mounted new productionsยฌโ€•these through the ๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™–๐™ฃ๐™Ž๐˜พ๐™๐™„๐™‹๐™Program and the institutionalized ๐๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐œ ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐ž๐ซ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐€๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ.

Our๐‡๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐š๐ก๐š๐ง Program has trained artists garnering major awards, among these the NCCA Writers Prize for Playwriting awarded to IPAG Executive Director Neil Arkhe Azcuna, and his selection to the CCP Virgin Lab Fest, adding up to his growing list of recognitions including last yearโ€™s Best Film Award for Pelikulove.

Collaborations continue: Asia Pacific Bond of Theatre Schools (APB), the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the Cultural Center of the Philippines and its Kaisa sa Sining network, the Dept. of Trade and Industry, Dept. Of Foreign Affairs, Iligan City Government, and various public and private initiatives.

IPAG acknowledges the invaluable support of the MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology that provided the nurturing spaces for the Guild to grow in the last 45 years. Even as we expand our reach further, IPAG acknowledges its roots from where lies our anchored origins.

In 2020, the CCP recognized IPAG with the highest award for a Philippine performing companyโ€•the ๐†๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ ๐‚๐‚๐ ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐š ๐ฌ๐š ๐’๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ .
