The protagonists clash, jump, roll in duel, their โkampilansโ clanging. War screams, then silence. (A Moment.) All eyes are glued front as only the loud cracks of clicking bamboo poles break the silence. Mโranao heroes Bantugan and Salindagaw battle for Arkat-a-Lawanen who positions herself between them.
Then one slash of the kampilan tears the other. Enthusiastic applause breaks the silence. Curtains.
Another IPAG performance throws off the audiences from their present moments. The aura embraces empathy and a communal feel of victory.
